Farley was that one Dj that I would stop whatever I was doing on a Friday or Saturday night in Chicago, run home, cut on WBMX or WGCI radio station, sit there and wait for the Tarzan yell or his personal track "Farley, Farley" to signify the start of Farley's House Mix was about to begin. I'd hit record on my cassette tape player and enter into hours of pure House Music and Disco bliss.Ok... I originally bought this record when I was 15 at Rose Records in Evanston, Illinois and got the red vinyl version. It had a little scratch on it and I wanted to return it for another record but never got around to it. Well... damn near 30 years later I still got the same red vinyl record and it still sounds as good as the day I bought it. All the House tracks on it I still enjoy even though it may not appeal to everyones House Music taste nowadays but it was the sh!t back then in '85. I wonder how much the red vinyl record is worth today? I dont' care, I'd never sell it. :-)
