Irresistible tribal techno groover. A very god friend of mine has a copy and its incendiary potential is something to behold.Combinig uplfting disco vocals sampled from Nightmares On Wax "Nightmare" (who actually snatched the vocal bit from the song "Happiness Is Just Around The Bend" by Cuba Gooding), infusing them with inspiriting piano stabs from The Hypnotist's "House Is Mine", and then topping it off with the tight grooves than only Ben Sims and Paul Mac can come out with - and you have it, a retrofuturistic dance floor classic. On the flip you have two versions of the A side. Still on the heavy tribal tip, the first tune applies a more rumbling bass segment, adding shaking congas and opting for a break beat percussion pattern. Meaning it goes even more old school than any of the previous Killa Productions offerings. You could safely assume that this predates R. Pawlowizt's Power House material by half a decade. A proper euphoric rave banger.B2 is a tool, combining elements of its counterparts. It goes back to the more basic 4x4 techno structure, tossing in some distantly echoing vocal bits as the blissful melodic pattern paves way to the forefront. The beats are crisp, the bass line is voluptuous, the sampling is classy and the piano licks are ecstatc, really accentuating the vocals. Very very good DJ utensils right here.
