Mall
My copy sounds big and dynamic and lively through analytical yet highly musical planar magnetic headphones. Quite pleased with this release's excellent packaging as well.

Siatanni
Love this set, will be in my collection a long time, sounds so big!

Clonanau
My copy sounds better than my XL black REs from 2016. Honest. That said, there's a little surface noise at the very beginning of the first track.

Taur
Since everyone is having issues and complaints here you should maybe look into the EU black or blue versions. And yes, the Blue one is also great, low surface noise and barely any crackles.

Anarus
To be completely honest, this album is a bit of a masterpiece. Nothing wrong with my pressing. It just contains glorious Radiohead music from when they IMO, was at their peak. If you're looking at this review and still haven't bought this thing, something is seriously wrong with you.

Good God, you Memeheads are pretentious af. My copy sounds great. No errors. I wish every 3xLP release had a jacket like this. Feel free to let me know how wrong I am and how I can acquire the angelic, perfect pitch ears of the common man Radiohead fan. I've heard that sucking on a lemon when you wake up helps...

gabraham Good God, you Memeheads are pretentious af. My copy sounds great. No errors. I wish every 3xLP release had a jacket like this. Feel free to let me know how wrong I am and how I can acquire the angelic, perfect pitch ears of the common man Radiohead fan. I've heard that sucking on a lemon when you wake up helps... Dude you're an idiot. People actually come here to discuss the quality of pressings and what goes into reissuing these albums. I think you misinterpret some of these comments as "memeheads" trying to be "pretentious" when, in fact, it's the exact opposite, we are trying to inform each other of the defects that can occur. No matter what the pressing, issues can always arise, bad run, misprints, the A side pressed on the B side, etc...we are just trying to inform other buyers of the experiences we've had purchasing certain records. If you can't respect that and wanna go blow you're trumpet about the perfect pressing this is not the site yo do it. Now, next time if you wanna leave a comment that would benefit us all, I'd be open to that...

Mightsinger
They're probably spinning it on a Charlie Brown Crosley table.

Ochach
My copy looks and sounds great. Maybe some folks got beaters and if so, they should definitely reach out to their store or distro if that's the case.

Nightscar
My copy was flat and silent other than a little paper residue from the inner sleeves. Packaging very nice for 3LPs. Sounds great, I'm pleased with this release.

Minha
For the copy I purchased I got duplicate A/B sides of the record and no C/D. Did this happen to anyone else? Reached out to XL to see if they'll do anything about it, probably not but we will see.

Ishnjurus
Mine was missing LP1 completely! Bullmoose is being cool about it, though.

Xtani
my opinion: I thought this reissue was going to be low quality and I was right. Don't get me wrong the sound is ok, acoustic parts are bright, and the sound is full, bass is kind of hollow at times, can also lack a bit of clarity here and there but I would say the overall sound is good enough. My problem is with the quality of the pressing. Scuffs and scratches right out of the box, man I hate to see that, no surface noise but some sides are definitely pressed off center. The quality control on this reissue was substandard to let this pass. My theory that the QC for this release was shit is supported by the fact that multiple customers at my record store recieved one black vinyl disc in their limited edition blue version, so who let that pass? This is a prime example of what happens when a label doesn't recognize the demand so they try to press a shit ton more copies in a very, very limited amount of time so some of the batch comes out rushed, looking like shit. I'm guessing this is why the releases date in the US was postponed, so they could press a lot more shit to release on to the masses cause they knew it would sell. Once again, all my opinion and theories, I'm not trying to offend anyone who is happy with the release but apart from the OK remastered sound I am not ok with the quality of the pressing.

Wenyost
I usually buy a standard version to play, and the limited/boxed editions to keep sealed strictly as collector's items. I did the same thing with A Moon Shaped Pool - One to listen to, the other as an investment. In this case, I'm keeping the blue and boxed editions sealed.

Whitebinder
My side A is slightly off center. That sucks, as SHA is probably my favorite track off the album, especially the second verse.

Olma
Lots of good eu copies. Some bad batches mostly from the states it seems. Chill bud, ive been around a few records and my copy is about as good as they get.

Bort
thecloudsbelow Shame. My copy is absolutely perfect. Do do do Cool dude, good to know you like low quality bullshit...the separation and clarity is amazing? I've heard good separation and clarity on a lot of releases, doesn't mean they're necessarily quality but that's what you say qualifies this as a good release? That's an ameteur comment man, glad you like this release though, happy you got your money's worth.

Rishason
Returned my first copy, bought a second copy, while this copy is pressed on center, some discs have light scuffs and the label is bubbling off on side C of the second disc with a deep scratch on the first track...not upset, just going to return it and probably not buy it again, gonna have to pass this one up and let ppl know there's definitely a bad batch circulating out there.

Enone
I'm not even going to open the US blue version that I'm about to get in the mail. I've read too much about quality issues and even having the wrong discs? What crap. That's unacceptable? Hey Radiohead/Thom... just press your albums in the UK where they give a damn about QC, and ship them here. I'll gladly pay a slightly higher price to know that my vinyl is going to come correct in all respects. US record pressing companies apparently don't care about the end product, and it seems to be getting worse. This is now the second time this has happened in the last two years with Radiohead albums. A Moon Shaped Pool US white/black vinyl pressings had issues (Rainbo) similar to these. The UK ones did not (at least not mine). Ended up with the EU/UK blue pressing of OKNOTOK OKC....it's beautiful...no cracking....no off centered labels...the right discs came in the package....this is the expectation....every.....single.....time.

Silverbrew
Shame. My copy is absolutely perfect. Do do do

Gardall
Very good analysis. Unfortunately, I have to agree with just about everything you said.
