"Cyclus" got me into Kyoto_Digital and to this day has remained one of my favorite tracks not only from this label but generally from it's respective genre. Carried by soft pad and hi-hat, the slow paced rhythm combines with some distorted hiss in the background and some gentle, simple synth stabs to create an incredibly fundamental and simplistic yet highly effective and messmerizing sound, an absolute epitomy of minimal, dub-infused techno. Worthy of mention is also the track "Steppa Stylee2", which in a way extends the principles of "Cyclus" by augmenting the role of the backgroud noise and amplifying the synth work.Absolutelly brilliant.
