I think there might be an error concerning who composed "Red Headed Stranger". I believe the song was written by and originally recorded by Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith. It was released on the MGM record label in the early 1950's. The flip side was "Sobbin Women" ( a song from "Paint Your Wagon"). Other internet sources list Smith as the composer instead of Calish & Stutz.
