Andrzej Biezan "Miecz Archaniola" LP privately issued by Alma Art collective for the Artist series (002) in Poland, 1984. Handmade gatefold sleeve with large original photos attached on front and back, limited to 200 copies. Fantastic electronic music LP by Andrzej Biezan included in the astonishing Artist series from the Alma Art collection. To me the best record in this series together with Krysztof Knittel "Lapis". Only 200 copies in hand made sleeve with large original photo attached on both front and back cover. This record includes the two excellent and very intense electronic music pieces "Poligamia" (performed in duo with Krysztof Knittel) and the title track "Miecz Archaniola" on Side A, while Side B features a long piece with concrete manipulations of cello and tuba titled "Bylem I Bylem". Recorded at Studio Eksperymentalne Polskiego Radia, Poland. Very rare original Polish artifact, a top archive-copy. The Alma Art label, started in 1984 in Warzsawa, during the beginning of the Polish "Solidarnosc" era. This cover artwork was a part of the exhibitions "Vinyl, Records and Covers by Artists" at Neues Museum Weserburg, Bremen, Germany (2005), at MACBA Barcelona, Spain (2006), at Serralves Foundation in Porto, Portugal (2007), at La Maison Rouge in Paris, France (2008) and in Moskow (2010). Also included in the mythical "Broken Music" catalogue. Art record with experimental music, here at its best!
