When i think Djax Up Beats records, i think Random XS, Chicago House artists for european market, Edge Of Motion, Acid music with jackin vibes & This Poltering Rhythm Traxx EP. I remind the year 1992 as the time acid music was coming back & this was so exiting to me. The 303 sounds on records were more wild & stronger than ever. A top radio dj friend of me used to bring us the new euro techno sound emerging & he had this surprising green record full of cool dj-friendly cool drums traxx. This sounded fresh & weird but the use of machine here is finally very effective on big sound system. This is top party music & to me one of best Djax release.

Whoa, that's not very nice! Crappy male acapella? An acapella is vocals without accompaniment and there is drums and sequences in "The Third Wave", thus rendering this NOT an acapella. I happen to like the track a lot. It's the only thing that makes this release really worth getting. Otherwise you're just getting "poltering rhythm traxx". In other words - a tool. If minimal 909 rhythm is what you're looking for, however, then by all means buy this record! I really like "The Third Wave" and think it's tops in early-styled acid, you know the kind with the "robotic" sound, not all the distorted 303 and 909. Just clean 808 drums and clean 303 acid line. I just treat mine like a one-sided single that doubles as a DJ tool in a pinch. Yeah, "The Third Wave" is kind of a cool Acid Junkies type track. This is the Acid Junkies, isn't it? When tradition was broke, they added a new namesake to their list of monikers. Rumor has it this was only half of the Acid Junkies. Well, so you get half the product of the Acid Junkies. Five parts good tool, one part great acid track. Don't be put off! It's pretty good overall, and way better than the "holier-than-thou-because-I'm-a-DJ/producer-who-can't-write-a-song-but-just-a-track-but-I'm-so-fuckin'-cool-because-I'm-a-DJ" minimalistic schwag "techno(?)" being shoved down our throats these days! The green vinyl is groovy too.

I totally agree, without the track "The third wave" i wouldnt have this record either.. It goes way deeper than just music, it's about the whole phillosophy of detroit techno. Check the book by Alvin Toffler! The third wave is coming..

I wouldn't say this one is the best hard acid. The only acidline is in the third wave. And I can't listen to it. The voice in it that keeps on nagging about 'The third wave is comming' and a drum that kicks at the wrong moment, tsss? At the climbing to the climax the sequencer gets nutty with a crying saw-tooth, me so horny. But that voice. ouwch. The other tracks are minimal tribal 909techno, wich are quite good for it's time. My conclusion, if you are looking for hard acid classics, you won't be satisfied. Unless you like crappy male acapella.
