Didn't find out about this until, I dunno, around 2016 or 2017? Regardless, this EP is one of my favorites. I can't really say why other than it has a very experiment type of feel as far as techno. It's just weird, but in a very *good* way. A1 "Confession" really sets the tone. First time hearing it I was waiting for the drums to kick in and thankfully it never happen. The sounds he's getting out of an oscillator(?) and an light echo effect keeps you focused on the slight, varying sounds he's getting. The stereo effect of white noise in the background really gives the track a spaced-out feel for me. It might be my favorite track. A2 Reversion, is more of the techno banger I was expecting as the first track. The kick is nice and snappy. The deceptively simple/repetitive sequence it's actually fairly complex. I've tried to get that same sequence and with no luck, it's a really nice sequence and a perfect one for the track. The drum programming is killer, plenty of dynamics. B1 Separation, is a perfect ending. Thankfully he (they?) decided *not* to go with a typical four-to-the-floor kick. Nice high-pass filtered synths in the beginning. A continuous one "note" sample permeates the track, sounds like someone breathing through a plastic bag or something...really cool sample. A nice industrial sound mid song continues through the end and gracefully fades out. Obviously, I love this record! :D I hope they keep putting music out.
