I'd be very interested to hear an original... considering its a DMM from RTI

Mr.Death
I will also agree that the original version sounds much better than the repress, this applies to all of the MM records that I have heard. Owned the original version of the Fruit That Ate Itself and Sad Sappy Sucker and have never heard a repressed version so I can't comment there. The repressing sounds distorted as well, original does not (applies to all of the records that I have heard.)

I spent a big chunk of my tax refund on a sealed copy of this (original pressing) and I wanted to say it sounds infinitely better than the reissue. It's still the same lofi album, but the pressing is soft and spacious. I find the reissue gives me a headache in headphones. Worth the $.

BlackBerry
anyone else have a 'Buffalo' MM print come with their UP44? it's on a newspaper print paper ..

Chuynopana
newspaper style paper with green background and white/yellow lettering 'Modest Mouse' with large buffalo in center. Large size

Ishnllador
It's just a poster from Up Records. It looks like the Buffalo t-shirt. I have one on my wall and didn't get it with the record. I bought it directly from Up before they went under.

Aver
huh...what's it look like? didn't know it came with an insert.

Drelalen
Anyone interested in parting with LP2? I have first record not second.

Aloo
Anybody notice that the spine of the records has catalog number UP44 and the vinyls list UP 044? Is this consistent with the original pressings?

Wymefw
Just checked my copy, it in fact has UP44 on the spine, but UP 044 on the labels. There's only one pressing of this album, so it's safe to say they're all like this.

Zainn
Just got a sealed copy of this, wondering if anyone has seen any sealed copies in the last few years? Hefty price tag but worth it.

Umge
now 2.5 years later, I've seen sealed copies of LCW up around 1K ... not many sold for that but that is the asking price, crikey!

White_Nigga
Yes, they pop up from time to time on Ebay...usually go for 200+ sealed.
