Jeff Wilkinson must have listened to a lot of John Prine as you can hear him in his voice & his songs. That being said this is a very fine & obscure folk album. The songwriting is solid and Wilkinson has a very strong & enthralling singing voice. The accompaniment is also very tasteful ranging from very minimal (solo acoustic) to fuller band settings (guitar, fiddle, accordion, bass) and well performed
