Notes

Two pro-dubbed cassettes in vinyl-box, includes zine with collage artwork. Limited to 50 copies.

"Transcontinental Collaboration" presents the audiovisual collaboration between multimedia artists Max Kuiper ( Les Horribles Travailleurs / The Netherlands) and Jacob DeRaadt (Sterile Garden / USA). For this project both artists explored abandoned industrial spaces in their respective locations and shared their photos, collages, field-recordings and amplified acoustics.
Out of this source-material they created a composition of beautiful industrial soundscapes accompanied by their collages of "exploring urban space".

To take the concept of a transcontinental collaboration a step further, four sound artists from Europe and the USA got invited to do a rework out of the source recordings for a remix. These are featured on a second cassette.

All recordings and collages by Jacob DeRaadt and Max Kuiper
Mastering, layout and design by Jan Warnke
