old tune released by rich on a forum years ago. shares a sample with Luke Vibert's sci-fi staircase. More in the vein of Tuss but a bit harder and dancier. If I remember correctly this tune was released on a music production forum as a kind of tech demo of all the new gear he'd recently acquired.

Have to correct you there a bit :) this track was played in a DJ set by Luke Vibert in 2006. That explains why you can hear a bit of Spac Hand Luke's Sidthug at the start of that version. When the soundboard recording of that set was uploaded, someone on the watmm forum thought this track was Aphex Twin's remix of Sci-Fi Staircase, which it isn't. That's why it was called 'Sci-rem' at first. The actual remix has been uploaded on soundcloud by user18081971. Another fun fact, at 0:29 seconds in you can hear some Buchla 200 sounds that Aphex released under the title "Buchla 200 Quad Eg,fm Osc Fb Network Edit Master Edit+3" on his Modular Trax playlist.

no it is not, this track has been floating around for almost ten years now. the one you're referring to is from 2013

It's weird... but I like it.

Feels like one or two elements that are switched between, repeated and pasted over each other, like some of the sounds at the start are the same as the end. Kind of feels slightly disjointed to me because of that, a bit slapdash. This track was originally released under a different name as a Luke Vibert remix.Oh and Duty Now Booji!
