Gri
Although I can appreciate the depth and the wide range of sounds floating throughout Triplicate, to me this vinyl is all about Document. A linear dubby type track, with cool 'rattle snake' effects added to the tripped out percussion, builds for approximately ninety seconds when it gradually adds a completely sci-fi haunting passage descending from the darkest corner of the Milky Way. Totally freaky, the sphere created is simultaneously awe inspiring and redoubtable. It seems that the whole track is inevitably nearing in on you as it progresses. The disorientation effect it creates is iminent. My biological clock goes idly about in all possible directions at once, ubiquity seems like an adequate option, but in reality I remain immobile.Trust me on this one: just let Document get played out loud, close your eyes, your body willingly enclosed and encased by the humming bass line, and wait for that spaced out theme to carry you away to a parallel realm. Yummy tune, and this minimal stuff isn't really my cup of Vodka either. The rest of this 12" doesn't cut it for me at all, but when I think of alluring techno music anno 2011, this should be one of those tunes that'll keep up popping into my mind until the year's over.
