Notes
From WRC article - "Sir Thomas was at his inimitable best, coaxing his orchestra, occasionally swearing at them, and then relaxing tension by suddenly launching into outrageous stories. Apparently the engineers could not bring themsleves to obliterate the tapes." Beecham gave permission for the recordings to be released, but died (on 8 March 1961) shortly after test pressings had been made. The full works in rehearsal were all issued by WRC the same year.Australian WRC 1st pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. "XE 1115" on sleeve, "XE-1115" on labels.
