Notes

Northumbria: before Bernicia and Deira unite under the one king, the north of river Humber was left to their fate by the Romans who went to fight their wars against pagans in Italian Peninsula: the path was opened for Angels and Saxons to plan an invasion from Frisia. Once the task was achieved the next path was to subjugate the Celtic people from England and impose their language and Germanic culture by any means necessary. There were dark days and obscure pit in the British history. Nobody knows for sure how these transformations happened until the Heathenism was extinct and the coming of catholic credo. The next chapter: when everybody thought the island was protected then another wave of pagan invaders came from the North...but this is another story...

This album is a prequel to Fluvium Tenebris.

A Shining Star over Northumberland was conceived to be an homage to a fallen friend: Helena Satie. But as the life passes and friends go this album is dedicated to Helena, Daemon, Lemmy and David Bowie. The first letter of each song forms the word: HELENA WT, meaning HELENA WORLD TOUR. She is not dead, she is the star that shines over Northumberland.
