In compiling terms, this is quite a weird release. So far the only multiple CD release I know where the tracks are roughly divided between Jungle/Drum n Bass and Techno. Looks like compilers had fun compiling a new release of these two main styles with tracks previously released on this label and associates. To add more confusion release has the word 'HARDCORE' in title and this word has a very broad meaning. And if it was not enough, the only Hardcore you get here is that bunch of UK Hardcore-Breakbeat ones just before the style changed to Jungle and Drum n Bass at some point in 1993. I wonder on which rack and under which style was filed back then when released. You know, when shops used to put separators with style names between CDs. Good old days. And in case you're wondering, I've filed this near my Drum n Bass box-sets.Disc 3 is more on the House side.
