Here comes As I Lay Dying again! Another solid, must have in my collection release. ..Why?!Ever since Tim started hitting the gym and/ or playing with harder bands and hearing all the crap come out post 2004-2005 he just stepped up the level of brutality, i.e. "the Powerless Rise". Paralyzed, From Shapeless to Breakable & Moving On sound like b-sides, but not the b-sides nobody should hear. They are good, solid, brutal tracks. The stand out covers are Slayer "War Ensemble" & Judas Priest "Electric Eye"..but the best track on the entire thing is the re-recorded medley of "Beneath the Encasing of Ashes," it makes me want them to re-record the whole album, they already re-recorded their split with American Tragedy.I have no comment on the remixes..except it's cool that there's a mixes of songs from different albums. I like Big Chocolate. I like Commissioner..I don't really care much for a remixed AILD.
