I can't understand why this release isn't as well-regarded as it should be, either. Now, I love tunes full of gunshots and lyrics about why you should "bun all informer" as much as the next original junglist does, but this one's got just the right blend of uplifting "light" and badbwoy "dark" sounds, which is what made a lot of early jungle/D&B so great!Anyone who was there at the time would tell you how big this tune was, both on the pirates and at the raves. If you don't believe me, listen to any decent live DJ set from around the time - it gets multiple spins on some tape packs. Two excellent mixes (though the "Powder Mix" is arguably the best known) and guaranteed to get people singing along - well, me anyway! haha :) if I was going to be sent to a desert island, and was only allowed to take 10 jungle/D&B records with me, this would probably be one of them.

V. surprised no comments on this one, seeing as it's approaching its 17th year. Fell in love with this tune (Roni Size Mix) upon first listen and it is still in my all-time Drum & Bass Top Ten. The beauty is that it is so well-paced; there is no commotion, no hurry. It's beat-led (bass is low down in the mix, but still plays a key component in the composition) and vocal samples are dropped in at absolutely the right parts. The Wayne Smith vocals in the final third are the icing on the cake. High, high production marks. It's criminal that this tune isn't more highly lauded...
