absolut overrated record...there is no Soul, no Funk, no Groove ..and still a re-press had to be made... I am asking myself why People can listen to such dead & soulless Music...it's not because it is synthetic or minimal, no..it is simply boring and flat...to all young clubbers, Dj's, Producer...we did it already yesterday...

Zieryn
Yes, you are maybe right..but try to listen other stuff.. improve yourself by discovering new and old house tunes, and believe me one day you will take distance to this cheap s***

Original
mate... just do more drugs :D wonderful trax imo. taste is a subjective thing you know

Wrathshaper
"I am asking myself why People can listen to such dead & soulless Music." "we did it already yesterday."Are you saying that music of the past is "soulless"?

ladushka
Completely rediculous, negative attitude which clearly speaks volumes about your character. Try being more in the present. p.s. I'm not a 'young' clubber lol... I'm a veteran.

Dikus
When you get to a certain age, it is tempting to say: 'We did this all before...and better'. In reality, you just come off sounding like a bitter old fool. Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath recorded some of the greatest rock music that will ever be - does that mean no one else should pick up a guitar? No. It doesn't matter what happened yesterday. Put on some old Jeff Mills or Joey Beltram or Juan Atkins and enjoy that - then put on some Levon, Anthony Naples or Kyle Hall and get in to that too. Kids that hear this in a club tonight ain't worrying about what happened 20 years ago.

I'm happy to secure myself a copy with the repress, Solemn Days is weapon I'd like to have at my disposal, I think its a vicious curve ball to throw at a crowd. If it's not your thing that's cool you're entitled to your opinion, but at least speak for yourself, because many people think otherwise

Goltigor
Welcome repress. One thing no one ever mentions with represses - esp. when they are a few years old (Solemn Days originally came out FIVE years ago) is that not everyone would have been in a position to buy them when they originally came out. So its not a question - for many people - of having "slept on it" originally: e.g. they might have been 11 years old in 2009 and are only now getting into Levon's music, or they might have not been able to afford the $15-$20 (inc. shipping) for a 12" single at the time, etc. Vinyl is an increasingly expensive format - esp. if you don't live in a big city with a cutting edge dance music/vinyl store, and if people are going to continue to support it - then the music should be as accessible as possible. Levon Vincent has a great track record of making his music available again … ditto Larry Heard, Theo Parrish …

Kamuro
Absolutely agree.

Androwyn
Not sure how I feel about the Repress I like that Levons EPs are hard to get

Uylo
Does it effect your ego and make you feel less of a DJ? Represses are always welcome. The more people who can and wish to appreciate Levon Vincent's music can only be perceived as a good thing in my opinion.

Flocton
In the end, what really matters is the quality of the music, not the fact that is hard to get.Repress's in my opinion are always welcome, supporting the artist and the label is never a bad thing. Plus, prices speculation on discogs sometimes is a surreal thing to watch.

Uickabrod
Any difference between the repress and original? Runout, anything?

Well you know the saying "people with taste, people with money and people with the repress" if you sleep on a record when it's first released and they all sell out what are the options but to pay the price dictated by the market, or hope you can find a cheap one (unlikely) or just wait for the repress? It's a capitalist world!

Vuzahn
M2MTRACKSI totally agree with you but with 602 at present wanting this, that's easily enough for warranting a ltd 500 copy repress. Why should someone else gain so much more than the creator of the music. If a record of mine was in demand like this, I know what I would do...I'm no mathematician, but if 602 want it, then a 500 copy repress may not be enough? I'm worried for those other 102 people. Will some of them have to share? And what about 3-D printing? We need to talk about this. Claudio will have to change his saying to: 'People with taste, people with money, people with the repress and people with 3-D printers (who I guess also have the money - they're in two of the categories)'. That saying is probably a bit too long now to be considered a saying. Sayings really only work if they trip off the tongue. Cheers.

mind blowing ! represssssssssssspleaseee

Vichredag
I honestly hate Levon for not repressing his releases. One of my favorite producers. But I missed out on all his records.

the monster
7000 copies seems to be an overkill since Levonś music are underground material. Thus have a smaller base of followers and buyers in general. But if he is confident he will sell them all then keep on pressing that amount. If it´s true then i am glad he makes his music accessible and widespread like great music like this should be.

Cerar
He told me some time ago that he presses about 7000 copies of each record, that's a lot. It's quite an investment for him to repress the records, I guess. So that's why not everything is getting a repress right away.

Stanober
Repress!

Erennge
repress, repress, repress......

Reemiel
yeah, lets get a repress, the days of limited pressings need to be a thing of the past, this shit is to good to miss out on.

Umge
underrated? just look at the prices dude... please repress it, please.
