Recorded live. Which is the main reason I bought it. Studio mix cd's are just totally worthless and dont show off DJ's talent. A DJ is a live entertainer, and entertain Alex P & Brandon Block did. You have a tune Echo Drop, which means dropping an E. Taiko, translated means, take one. But im guessing P and Block liked the vocal stab "Give The Love" for a set 1st tune. To great affect this tune was used, set the tone and delivered a message. How apt, a few vocal stabs in Its Alright "Get up geerrr up". The higher enegry tunes of the 90s were all about the momment, its the way 90s culture 90s times were back then. The mix goes on to deliver a feeling and high anticipation with flicks of mad cap, happy delerious tunage. It was the reciepy back then for tunes to make us smile, as we had no worries back then. The world was just in better shape, and people made bright intelligent joyous house music. Straight up funky groovers in there with foot stompers. The two just delivered a great live care free absorbing, non pretencious house set. Simple really.

JOGETIME
The idea of getting down in the sunshine never ever occured to me in 94/95. I thought of house, in dark clubs with boomin sound systems along side good looking, well dressed klub heads. Bam Space! Those piano anthems sure had a new lease of life in the middle of the afternoon. I loved the idea of a house set/tunes for the mid afternoon sunshine. This mix cd is so good I cant imagine any other time of day for these tunes to be heard. For me this mix was the introduction to dancing in the open air clubs in Ibiza during the day. Even today the Piano line in Happy Clappers - I Believe just crys out summer sunshine avint balaeric hedonistic good vibes.
