Volume 3 - Kite/Parker NYC

Volume 3 of the series features original demos recorded by Michael Kite and me in New York City, where we lived, between 1990-1993. All songs in this volume were started with Michael performing and recording a drum track. Michael had no idea what I would be doing musically with the drum tracks, yet he would compose an arrangement of differing sections of the song structure, which I used to build a song around in many cases. Sometimes I had a part and the drum track partially fit and I might write something over sections that didn’t fit. We would end up going back and re-doing them in rehearsal and further demos, and many eventually were recorded in 24 track studios for release on Tadpoles’ albums.
