(The Satanist short review)Initially I was very sceptic about this album.Some of Nergal's activities last years seems to be.. strange, and some kind of doubts about upcoming album's quality is definitely being present in my head.But now, listening The Satanist, I understand - all my fears completely blown away.Ladies and gentleman, the 10th Behemoth album is rock-solid state of the Art.Really awesome, rich sounding, dynamic, cool, and VERY atmospheric death metal album.All the songs - from first to last - sounds original, very different, each have their own style, mood, and being listened together - one by one - paints great sound picture of The Satanist.Extremely dramatic "messe noire" keep us on and charged, and then... beautiful, truly heavy metal solo in the way of Behemoth... Just as Nergal promised in interviews =)Title track "The Satanist".... You know, from the very beginning this song reminded me James Bond movies, or something like that. The song itself have some "bravade", heroic inpirations, and sounds industrial to me. And I embrace it.Very epic "ben sahar", evangelion-style, moderate tempered "blow your trumphets gabriel".....oh, c'mon! You get it already %)New album is fresh, great sounding, so have to celebrate the 10th heavy step of Behemoth!m/Rr. B.
