A classic track. It's probably been overplayed at this point, but its qualities still can't be overlooked. MUSIC AND WINE established Naked Music, for a time, as a force to be reckoned with. The "Original Funkaphonic Vocal" mixes silky vocals with smooth production, while Miguel Migs dubs out the vocals slightly, while layering in a perky synth line. Denes brings two of his own smooth mixes to bear with the "Conga Lounge Mix" adding a bit to the percussion, and the "Blue Silk Dub" dives down deep. But the mix to go to still is "Th'Attaboy Vocal," which brings in a heavier rhythm and bassline, which seems to amplify the sadness inherent in the vocals. Still lovely after all these years (and listens).
