Not sure that this could be categorised as Happy Hardcore. This was a very dark and sombre release around a time where bouncy and happy was the norm. It was, and still is in many respects, ground breaking with the style and mood that it created. The underlying synths are just there in terms of atmospheric. Science of Rhythm only had one release in the mid 90's and it should have been more.Intruder is the track for me, Recall is a bit more upbeat - if you can call it that but compared to Intruder it was. Only odd thing I ever had with this EP was that Intruder was a remix, never heard the original, if there ever was one...

total agree this is a gem of a 12inch nice and dark (intruder) is the best as said above / it was my secret weapon in my oldskool 93-94 hardcore jungle techno sets / pitch it down and it fitted well with the stuff ron wells / jack smooth / basement / Sound Entity / smooth recordings etc was making round late 92-94 time :) im surprised dj ratty dint play this in a set or two its right up his street......maybe he did and i never hear the tape... :)well worth picking up this as its a wicked 12inch and not just for the hardcore techno heads :)im puzzled to as ive never heard or seen the original mix....if ever they was one :)
