Well worth picking up. Not least because it includes some belters such as Bass Ballistic’s ‘Smoke Dis One (Remix)’ and Run Ting’s ‘Back Again', but it also includes 4-5 tracks that so far as I’m aware were not released elsewhere.The Dionysus and Spirit Level tunes are a couple of nice little dubbed-out breakbeat numbers that still sound fresh in 2016. Hardware’s ‘Let’s Go’ is more of a 4-to-the-floor affair with hands-in-the-air strings, pianos, and a lovely section of rave stabs reminiscent of the likes of Rhythm Section. The real gem for me though is Blatant and Dangerous’ ‘What The World Needs’ which is an absolute firing piece of old skool hardcore complete with energetic beats, Landlord stabs, and a spine-tingling breakdown.With 4 tracks per side, the sound quality does suffer somewhat, but with a little careful EQ-ing all should be well.
