this album is my favourite gong album having only heard the radio gnome trilogy , i see you and camembert electrique , the records sound very good with the exception of side two which sounds very crackly despite no flaws being detected , i have had similar issues with my other gong album which is also on the madfish label . the title track sounds very original until later in the song when the band decides to do "tool" better than tool ever could, you may or may not agree .i also hear some pink floyd elements on this album which are a little odd, the only other negative is that the vocals aren't at the same level as the incredible musicianship.the main theme of the album is accepting your ultimate demise. a great album and band that need to find a better label.{whoever did the "audiophile reissue of camembert electrique would be a more deserving label }i hope your copy sounds better than mine.enjoy.
