Era
Great tune!Way back in '87, I was about to set off for work (or possibly college) first thing in the morning, and one of Radio One's DJs played this, clearly having never played it before. Then he got to the "naughty" bit, and hurriedly ripped the record off the turntable, saying something like "err, well, that's enough of that one!" with great embarrassment! Haha! Truly a sucker DJ, lol.Derek B was never as hardcore as Asher D & Daddy Freddy, Hijack, London Posse and many other early UK hip-hop artists, but he sure knew how to make a good tune. And he was (iirc) the first British rapper to have a hit record; you may not necessarily like his tunes, but he deserves his place in UKHH history for that alone.
