NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Capitol 4667) Out of Los Angeles, this holiday disc written by Joseph Kruger & Henrietta Gilden and recorded at Hollywood's Capitol Tower in late 1961, is the only single issued by the Ray Anthony creation, the female duo of Diane Hall & Annita Ray as The BOOKENDS. After the big band sound began to wane, trumpeter/bandleader/song writer, Ray Anthony put together this female duo and took his band touring to sold out venues. Eventually Annita and Diane were replaced with other sets of 'Bookends' as the 1960's went into the 1970's and on into the 1980's. Two other talented ladies who filled in as 'Bookends' at one time or another were CINDY MALONE and VIKKI CARR.
