Arador
"Hey! R U Ready" is a wicked tough breakbeat-cum-4/4 track with electro, house and funk samples (the title invocation is from an electro tune and the bassline comes from Knights Of The Turntables' "Fresh Mess (Jam.... Your Radio)", there's a chunk of "One Nation Under a Groove in the middle, some of the beats sound like Todd Terry. "United Nation" is a militant marching beat, with quite an industrial/new beat feel, and again with disparate samples. "I Said it before once more time after time" comes from Sugar Bear - "Don't Scandalize Mine", some of the spoken stuff "All of us are one people, singing our music, doing our thing" is the same as used by Primal Scream , and Martin Luther King even gets a look in! Meanwhile, the 2 mixes of "Jah Beach" are strange sparse dubbed-out instrumentals of "Echo Beach"(Martha and the Muffins). The "Shingle Mix" has rather more reverb, and bot feature "Rastafari" mutterings and other dub stylings.
