The third book simply titled BAUHAUS is 18 pages of black & white photographs and is numbered on the back cover.

Disc 1 & 2 of this release were originally released in 1985 as a compilation of 2 LPs titled "1979-1983". In 1986, the "1979-1983" compilation was split into 2 separate releases with additional songs as "1979-1983 Volume One" and "1979-1983 Volume Two".

Disc 3 was released in 1989 as a separate release "Swing The Heartache - The BBC Sessions".

These sessions were recorded at the BBC studios in Maida Vale, London, for broadcast on Britain's national radio station, Radio One.
Session 1 (tracks 1 to 4): Recorded for the John Peel show. First broadcast on 3 January 1980.
Session 2 (tracks 5 to 8): Recorded for the David Hensen show.
Session 3 (tracks 9 to 11): Recorded for the John Peel show. First broadcast on 12 April 1982.
Session 4 (tracks 12 to 15): Recorded for the David Hensen show. First broadcast on 1 July 1982.
Session 5 (tracks 16 to 18): Recorded for the David Hensen show. First broadcast on 17 February 1983.
