Yllk
This is IMHO the best SST release. Ripper from front to back.

Vudojar
Yeah, that CD was put out by Mike Vallejo of Circle One fame. He played guitar for the STAINS for a few years.

Just wondering if any of you know anything about the CD that I've got of this. There are 3 additional tracks (Bombs Over Iraq / Not Me / Think) that don't appear on any reference pages that I can find. The rear cover has a barcode (8-2119-71??) and the label has an SST No. (ST-SST-289-3).

Mr_Mole
That CD is a bootleg. The band pulled the record and whatever stock was left from SST sometime in the early '90s (I believe) and it wasn't ever reissued.

Delalbine
Actually, someone already uploaded the different labels to each listing. The difference is visible.

@CeasarKe, there are definitely two pressings of this record. My friend has both and there are label variations plus different matrixes. The 1st label has the "deep groove" label (similar to the first few Black Flag records, 1st Sac Trust LP) and the later pressing has a flat label. It's consistent with the "Paganicons" repress from the same time period. My guess is that Ginn repressed it and didn't tell the band. If you want pictures of the label differences I can provide them. The covers are identical.

*Nameless*
If his name is crossed out here it means he was marked as an "ex-member" for some reason. Pretty sure it can be easily changed. The band needs to reissue this for sure. Also I need to find a first pressing, ha.

Yes. I was the one who was "dead wrong". @seam-splitter proved me wrong. But the good part was that I found out I had the first pressing of it. I think he was the one that was so kind to put the pictures up. This is why I love these open forums. I did learn to not be so quick to think Im right. Thanks for replying. Iam friends with Jack Lopez (the drummer) whose picture is on the back on drums and he also did the last reunion shows. But why is his name crossed out? Wondering if you know the answer to that. Thanks.

Bad Sunny
does anyone have the matrix/etchings on this record?

Mbon
sorry CeasarKe, but you are the one who is "dead wrong".the original pressing does not have the S-18688/9 etchings in the runout groove.it also has labels with a large diameter ring impression as you can see in the pics here on discogs.i have a physical copy of the 1st pressing laying next to me.so there are definitely two different pressings.no need to spam the whole place with your misplaced and insulting comments.the contributor of the repress is one of discogs's specialists concerning old HC and Punk records who puts a lot of efforts into his contributions.so calling his submission "crap" is stupid, insulting and plain wrong.

Gelgen
There never was a 1987 repressing. So who ever put this 1987 repress crap up is dead wrong. The etching on this read Matrix / Runout (Side A - Etched): SST-010-A S-18688 EL NOCHE, LA CERVEZA, THE METAL, "THE SHAMAN", BRUTHA! - EL TOOMIS L-15121Matrix / Runout (Side B - Etched): SST-010-B LA MUSICA DE LA GRAFFITORIA.
