I agree. this release sounds amazing on vinyl. and the sounds do come out better than the cd version. I own about 15 of these web of mimicry releases on vinyl. I have only opened one to listen to and mine plays without skips as well. although after reading the first post, I am nervous about the status on the others...

Bynelad

I've not heard the later pressing of this album, but this original edition sounds incredible. More surface noise than the other vinyl albums, but I didn't mind that aged feel considering the contents of this one and aside from that it's really special. This one seems to have been made for vinyl, and voices and sound effects seem to come from all directions and leave the CD seeming pointless (even more so than is usual!). Considering the quality of the !aNGRr! pressings of other albums I do look forward to listening to their pressing of this album. I have owned two copies of the original Mimicry pressing and neither skipped (well, the first one did, but only after I dropped something on the disc and scratched it!) so don't be totally put off by that story, as long as your stylus is set with good tracking you should be okay.

Shakanos
