If you want the album speed - corrected and with the banter between songs intact, you need to get 2003 cd version put out by Duel 2000 which isn't included in the list above. It is hard to get though.

My copy doesn't say 33 before the sx 1677 - does anyone have a similar copy or is it a completely different press?

I believe I have the same version as you, which is not listed here. Here's what I know and what I feel can reasonably be determined. 1) The flipback cover on my copy is identical to original pressings. 2) The labels on mine read sx 1677, which is a similar style to the Columbia labels from 1967-1969 (I compared to Piper at the Gates of Dawn). 3) The inner sleeve on mine advertises Sgt. Pepper's which was released in 1967. Based on all of this I believe mine was most likely pressed in the later 1960's. However, my record was still pressed using the original lacquer. I know this because the matrix numbers are XAX 2725-1N GM 1 and XAX 2726-1N L 1, which means this record was still pressed with the 14th (side 1) and 8th (side 2) stampers made from the first mother and first lacquer.

I have the same version as you, I'm not sure which pressing it is though. Same labels as the 1st pressing and the sleeve says 33sx 1677.

I have an original 1964 UK LP on Columbia. It's not a great album, but is quite the collector's item. I'm seeing $200+ pricing for the original, and mine is mint. And those pictures of the "Eric Clapton & the Yardbirds" album make me sick.

"Not a great album?" Art is in the perception of the receiver, Mr. Birkhead. Iv'e been playing 5LY since it appeared and I'm 65 now. It's a favourite!

Eric Clapton & the Yardbirds? Oh, please. There's not one solo on the LP, and Clapton only recorded maybe 4 or 5 studio tracks with what was Keith Relf's band. And give me Jeff Beck any day.
