I agree with both reviewers below about who Paul Barker is. This indeed is a nice album, but it has a major flaw. In my opinion the flaw is the vocals. Paul barker is no singer. His vocals sound flat with no emotion at all. I guess this is where Al Jourgensen would fit in. Also i think that this is half of a ministry album. If this material would have passed A.J's hands, we would be talking about a great ministry album. And yeah... ministry without P. Barker is half ministry to

Drastically overlooked record by Paul Barker, formerly of Ministry. Here, Barker kinda shows who the REAL brains behind Ministry's much-beloved late 80's/mid 90's sound actually was. I adore this record, and cannot say enough good things about it. It is so fresh, yet so classic. Barker has evolved beyond the constrains of his former band, and on this record he achieves a true evolutionary step in his craft. A condensation of Lead Into Gold, his vocal tracks from Ministry, elements of Pink Anvil, RevCo, etc... but also altogether something new and free of constraint to a genre or pre-conceived concept. REALLY recommend this to anyone who believes themself a fan of Ministry. To avoid disappointment, STOP at Animositisomina, and then jump over to Barker's work here. 5/5

If You Are Tired Of Hearing Al Jourgensen Roaring Against Bush during all the time in the last three Ministry's Albums (making them sound quite boring), and if you miss the real sound of the Ministry I love (Filth Pig, Dark Side Of The Spoon, Psalm 69..), the slow yet mechanic times (and not just the continuous boring blasts of the Bush Trilogy), the distorted riffs with the textures that makes your backbone shiver for the pleasure, and an acid voice with good and various lyrics, well, with this release you got back The Real Person That Was Behind The Sound Of Ministry In the last hmmmmm 20 years..? All My Respect goes to Mr. Barker and to this wonderful project!!! Buy it immediately!!!
