Nice liner notes (by Bill Dahl), unlike some other entries in Fuel 2000's "STORY" reissue series.
Discographical notes: Deesu 301 through appx 316 were distributed by Dover Records, which went bankrupt in 1968, wiping out a large chunk of the independent recording scene in New Orleans. After a few more (self-distributed?) releases in the original number series, Deesu gained some distribution from sister label Sansu's distributor, Bell Records. Oddly for this new arrangement, the label chose to re-use "300" series numbers for new releases, which makes discographies confusing. These are denoted by the "45-xxx" format and feature a later release date.

Notes
Great music - the sound is of varying quality between tracks, some of which are taken from 7" singles (and, frankly, not very well transferred).Nice liner notes (by Bill Dahl), unlike some other entries in Fuel 2000's "STORY" reissue series.
