Quote from sleeve: "Wait here in the darkness! Come, all you who listen, go the magic journey: now the sky is empty of all sun-and-star-shine; Come, we lose our footing. Night no friend of ours is; She has shut her eyelids. Moon who has forgotten. Lets us wait in darkness!"

Oparae
The first album of Sacred Spirit was extensively remixed when it was originally released. This album gathers a couple of the most interesting re-versions; some of them were already released on the CD-Singles and 12" vinyl, some others, more obscure, find their place only here. While the original album was a pleasant one, this restructured edition is as good, if not better. Maybe there is one or two tracks clashing with the others in term of style (the Totem Grid remix of 'Yeha Noha' for example), but the majority of the remixes are very well reproduced. Tracks 7 and 8 are two very dubby remixes, nearly taken out from the Indian traditional thematic. However, both are good, but more in the Lounge / Ambient field than in the 'dance' category. Howie B's remix of 'Tor-Cheney-Nahana' closes the album with an powerful and hypnotic violoncello part, very deep and dark. In memory of the Natives. Peace.
