It is for me one of the best albums ever made! All the music was done thanks to Asmus Tietchens' voice reading a text by Émile Michel Cioran, a French Romanian philosopher known for his works about the human decline, that's the reason why he's called pessimistic. The first track is really noisy and rhythmic; it is almost impossible to guess it was once someone's voice. The second track is based on a crescendo of what sounds like an asthmatic's breathing. Really spooky and great at time! Third track is short and it is the only moment it'll be possible to hear Tietchen's voice. Recordings of his voice are layered and the result is quite funny. After the shortest, here's the longest: all the same thirty minutes of again crescendo of glitchy little sounds -like a helicopter or an aeration mouth. If you have some patience, it would be your favourite track! This album is one of the most coherent I know: at the same time really eclectic but with a common pallet of sounds and concept; at the same time minimal but outrageously maximal!!! VERY Recommended!!!
