While there is no doubt we all bought this because of Rob and Sean D'n'B fame, the highlights on this record - imho - are the house tracks "Come Home" and "Still Waters". If you are into deep tech-house, these two tracks are definitely a must.

fantastic electronica from 2 giants in the d & b scene showing peeps that they are no 1x trick ponies. If you are a fan of eletronic music then fill ya boots :-)

This is one of those CD's I have in my collection that I will lovingly look after for the rest of my days. I love everything about it!First of all the Drum n Bass tracks (which I originally brought this CD for) are all easy going. My favourite two tracks though are "Lifecycle" and "After Dark (You Need A Friend)". Both capture that deep, late night atmospheric sound beautifully. Uptempo (Strobe Mix) also deserves a mention for it's originality.I also admire the fact that both Deep Blue and Omni Trio attempted to include other genres in this CD, even though this CD was aimed at the dnb scene, each non dnb track deserves it's own place on here. I particularly like the house tracks, such as "Come Home" and "Still Waters", both with their own warm and rich sound. It's such a shame that this is the only album that Omni Trio and Deep Blue made together under "Black Rain" as this album has so many good tracks on it. I have seen a few negative reviews elsewhere in my travels, which I really think this CD doesn't deserve at all. Each tune (for me at least) has the sense of being lovingly crafted and not rushed at all, unlike most dnb producers today. A special mention also on the album cover. It fascinates me as to how on earth they would have been able to take that picture before the can exploded in the microwave (which usually happens, so don't try it at home kids!)I would recommend this album to anyone who is into Good Looking records and atmospheric dnb.
