The word is "believable" and that's exactly what he is and his songs reflect very believable experiences and thoughts of himself and people he has met on stage. He has a way with an audience that most artists strive for and ever achieve. He is certainly not what you would call an over polished performer, but he has a quality about him that makes the audience part of his show and I've yet to see anyone disappointed who has come to see him perform.
Dick has been writing songs for quite a few years, but until "Countrified" hit the charts by both Dick and George Hamilton IV, a lot of his good material was overlooked, but now with Dick himself, eastablished as a country artists and with everyone looking for a new Damron song to record, you can look for a lot more of the believable type songs in the future.

Notes
It is very easy to get carried away in writing liner notes and use a lot of fancy adjectives to describe an artist but with Dick Damron I think one work describes him best. The word is "believable" and that's exactly what he is and his songs reflect very believable experiences and thoughts of himself and people he has met on stage.
