Robert Ellis Orrall started his music career in the rock clubs of Boston, legendary venues like The Rat, The Orpheum and Somerville's Inn-Square Men's Bar. This 10 inch UK import single was from his debut album "Fixation" and was always a crowd favorite. The A-side features an extended dance mix with great horn parts added in. The B-side was recorded at the Paradise Theater in Boston. This side shows off Orrall's band at it's best, with a great solo from Kook Lawry on guitar. This is great 80's rock. Part of a new wave of Boston artists that included The Neighborhoods, Mission Of Burma, Nervous Eaters and "Til Tuesday, Orrall signed with RCA in 1981. His three critically acclaimed albums, "Fixation", "Special Pain" and "Contain Yourself" were supported with tours opening for U2, The Kinks, NRBQ and countless others.
