Deep, dark, highly electrifying debut of Blastromen in 2004. Sexy Droid instantly became one of my favorite electro tracks ever, with sinister vocoderized lyrics referencing androids, machines, and sex of some sort. The whole EP is solid, each track has its own flavor. Le Nucleaire Civile is an well crafted apocalypse-era jam. Space Trader is perhaps the most "oldschool electro" style of the four tracks, and Robot Aggression is the most abrasive, heading more towards industrial , hinting stylisticwise towards some of the music from Dynamix II and the Battletrax Label catalog.

This EP is so darkside it hurts my soul. This was the electro resurgence, this is what it was meant to be.

After much searching, I finally tracked down a copy of this. After hearing the absolute genius of Blasteroids, this ep was a must. Space trader is just awesome and again the vocoded voice is programmed to perfection and in a key that just works, you will seriously be humming this madly to yourself in public, even better, try it on the dance floor with a big sound system and the speakers will actually say thank you! And that's not it, there are 3 other great tracks on here and the one that has grown the most and now a favourite; Subtle, sleek, weirdly organic, something fundamental that is lost but always there and again masterly programmed, Sexy Droid. As with the Blasteroids EP, this is vocoded/synth/electro/techno genius at its best.
