Without a doubt I must say that when “My Black Sabbath” from the album Costa Blanca effortlessly ebbed from my speakers I was enraptured and delighted, and a bit saddened, as I was hoping for more of this psych edged garage induced wanderlust. Though on second and third listens I became even more drenched in a concept that to me, as an English speaker first, found the album to be far more than a grouping of songs. The outing is a crafted to be a coherent piece of work that slowly, nearly visually seeps its way into your subconscious, feeling more as if one is listening to the soundtrack of a movie that’s being played out in your head with the cinematic quality of an altogether modern art-house black and white film that holds you raptured ... whether you understand the language or not.Review by Jenell Kesler
