Music for peace. 25 artists create an album for the 'No violence and Peace
School day'. ‘Music for peace: far beyond the
message’ is a musical recreation of the 25 assumptions included in the document ‘Towards a culture of peace’ written by the Fundació per la Pau, a catalan NGO working for a world in peace. Phlow.es: the spanish free music magazine has
invited 25 artists/bands to arrange the assumptions. The resulting songs, ranging different and ocasionally rare styles, express their message of commitment, respect and tolerence for promoting the need of peace. The songs titles are an abstract of the assumptions which can be read in detail in this beautiful pdf document. The release will be fully launched in a high quality free zip file January 30th, matching the "No violence and Peace School day" and willing to spread peace culture colaboration. Most of the artists and musicians featured in the compilation have close connection to the electronic music scene in Spain and have performed in the biggest festivals such as Sonar or have been playing in international events and venues.
