To 'bigpoppa': This is probably some kind of bootleg. You're right, this promo LP was originally released in 1977 to U.S. radio stations, DJs, etc. I have had two copies myself! Still have one. About 4 years ago, I bought this item on CD; the CD jacket was an immaculate scan; perfect! But the album to digital transfer was basically a step or two above the "crap-line". The speed was even cranked up a notch or two and for some reason the transfer tech ran the audio through a noise eliminator, hence, defunking the sound to even worse levels AND just before the individual cuts were completely faded out to "0" they were CLICKED! REALLY BAD! All to say, I am not sure if this Italian LP version is any better, but if one can find an original release on vinyl from 1977; BUY IT! It's surely worth it's weight in gold! The problem is that the Italian hack even gave his 'bootleg' the same exact catalog number as he original, "PRO-033". His scan looks immaculate however...not even one cardboard cover glitch, tear or paper-snag! Did alot of photoshop to clean it up. That's the clue! If you see one for sale on E-bay and the picture of it, is a little bit weathered & such...IT'S THE ORIGINAL...BUY IT! Over & out. Anthony Ochoa.

That CD is bad most likely because there is no official release of this Promo LP on cd.

Found a cool reproduction of Yvonne Elliman's "If I Can't Have You" by David Levy.iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/if-i-cant-have-you-single/id1049779374

Were they bootlegs? Because that is the original promo 12" vinyl sleeve from the 70s as I have 2 copies sitting right here. Exact songs and times...everything.

Malanim
Not sure how good the mastering can be...After all, this bootleg is from a vinyl rip. Probably brick walled too.

Manona
So? They copied the label, just as most counterfeiters do.

same w/ me. i purchased 2 copies of these back in 1979. they're beautiful. there are still longer extended versions of these tracks that are unreleased. i wish i could get them. these 2 items are not worth anything but still nice to listen too. i was planning to transfer these tracks to a CD-R. let's hope they'll release more items soon. enjoy.

Swift Summer
Yes....these are bootlegs.

TheJonnyTest
Yes, definitely bootlegs. I bought 6 copies directly from the dude in Italy. 4 copies to archive cause you just can't have enough Bee Gees and the other 2 I use professionally. The mastering is really good. All in all not to be passed up if you can't have the orig release.
