Nice concept album and not highly rated judging by the prices you pay for their second hand vinyl that I see. Suits me fine - my gold Promo copy sounds fantastic and is a really enjoyable listen. Not bursting with hit singles, but like lots of great 70's albums, it's strength is as an ALBUM, and it gels really well as one whole listen. Slightly laid back and dreamy - this is perfect for a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon in the sun. Highlights are most of the B side - the single 'Everybody's Talking 'Bout Love' is a slow burner, and 'Magic Mountain' is similarly beautiful with a great vibe, and the album closes out perfectly, never trying too hard, with the cute 'Land of Make Believe'.I could have this album in my collection simply for the cover art, which I adore, but the contents more than justify the purchase, at twice the price you'll probably be asked to pay.
