Ewan Pearson took the original which was a New Wave inspired affair and turned his focus and influence from the English & German New Wave and decided to borrow some influences from Italo disco but with a darker edge. And it's just brilliant, it was one those tracks that I fell in love with on the first listen. The climax is just this massive wave of synths blaring all on you and then it just goes back to normal, a classic production trick but it works every time. The vocal is a good one but I tend to play the instrumental almost exclusivly.
