Nice new renditions of those classic themes here. Maybe a bit too much limiting/compression during mastering though?Could use more dynamic range.

I have some extra prints and would like to trade if anyone is willing to do so. I am looking for Bob in the sheet from Halloween, as well as the pirate arm from The Fog. I am willing to trade the print for Starman or The Thing. Please only contact me if serious about trading the prints. I don't want to sell my records or any of the other prints. Thanks!

Reemiel
Thanks for the tip. I e-mailed them and they are sending me the cover as well.

For anyone who purchased this with the understanding that you'd receive a screenprinted cover, I'd recommend contacting Sacred Bones with your complaint: orders at sacredbonesrecords.com. The reply I received was that this advertising was a "mistake on the website." To make things right, they have offered to mail me a wraparound cover.

Sarin
Got my green wrap around cover with a wax seal on it. Sacred Bones also threw in 3 extra prints with an apology note. So I'm happier now.

Thanks! I am sorely disappointed with Sacred Bones. I too got the "yeah sorry" thing when I contacted them to advise them that they did not send me what they advertised. When I pressed the issue, they said that they would send an extra cover to me. But what a sham! Why does the Anti-God green version not have the 7", but the deluxe retail release has it. I think Sacred Bones should send out a 7" in addition to the extra cover. Also got it 5 days after release day. Amateurs!

I received a "yeah, sorry" initial response but I wasn't going to let that sit as is, and replied again expressing my disappointment that no one thought it appropriate to inform those who preordered of the change to the listing. With that second email exchange, they offered a screenprint wrap. I am somewhat OK with that but I rather wanted them to make things right for everyone involved, not just for those who complain.

Thanks! I wouldn't have known better as I order so many LP's, and it's been so long that I forgot about anything except green and 1 print.... I contacted them nicely today to ask about it... they've always done me right in the past, so we'll see.

Fek
My version is the "Anti-God Green" variant which was falsely advertised as being "hand numbered" 1-500 and including deluxe screen-printed outer wrap. It did NOT come that way. I had purchased this to go along with the rest of my Sacred Bones WAX sealed editions.

Adoraris
It won't let me edit the listing, but this version doesn't have that screen-printed outer wrap, hand-numbering, or wax seal. That's only the Halloween Orange version.

artman
I've edited the listing. Sacred Bones advertised the pre-order of this edition as being hand-numbered, but that was not what was mailed out. Many of us purchased under this pretense. I've included their original item description below (as captured from Web Archive) and have contacted Sacred Bones regarding the false advertising. Will update with their response. From 2017/10/11: (https://web.archive.org/web/20171011091541/https://www.sacredbonesrecords.com/products/sbr177-john-carpenter-anthology-movie-themes-1974-1998)"***Limited Edition Version: Edition of 500 hand-numbered copies, comes with alternate screen-printed wrap around sleeve, "Anti-God Green" colored vinyl exclusive to mail-order, one randomly chosen 7"x7" print by Chris Bilheimer featuring new art for one of the themes on the album, wax sealed, and available by mail-order only. ONE PER PERSON LIMIT.*** (THIS VERSION IS NOW SOLD OUT)."
