It's not. There are some Nigerian disco rap songs from 1982. A few that might be earlier, but there is no date listed.

Extremely rare and hard to get Old School/Disco Rap from the Ivory Coast!!!! Both tracks have the same music, one version is with fresh Rappin' in frensh & african Language and the other version is with fantastic Vocals. Both versions are really great! The vocal singing version is a boombastic Boogie tune, so this record is for the Boogie lovers and for the Old School/Disco Rap lovers as well! Also the record have an awesome picture sleeve showing the "Abidjan City Breakers" posing B-Boy Style....on the back side of the cover more pics of A.C.B. posing and showing some Break Dance moves.
