The wise choice of reverb in this particular track on Disclosure's 'Settle' album sets it head and heels above the rest. It's got the warmth of the deep bass sounds that resonate well in deep house, with the highs and experienced extremities of reverberation. When reverb dies down, it cures particularly well within the frequency ranges expected of most notable sound systems without disappointment. The track starts off distinctly with it's cured vocals and underlying beat, only to progress to Sam Smith's musical influenza. After the first three bars, it creeps into a reverberation kaleidoscope, only to reappear in stunning sound, with vocals reminiscent of Big Boy and Kenny Bobien. The outro falls back onto non-reverberated sound, eliminating the drastic closing of most trance tracks.I'd say a summer track that has no particular end within season, but a continuation of warm sound to embrace during the autumn and winter sounds. Anthem within 2013 to say the least.

A big hit in UK and I'm not sure about the rest of the world... this was, I think, the first mainstream hit from Disclosure, with Sam Smith giving all the drama, a diva sample, a diva chorus, chord changes, and a 6/8 rhythm. It's so rare to have a club hit (club hit? ballad?) with a ternary rhythm that only because of that I appreciate the song a lot. Part of the rnb resurrection of the latest years (a predicable step after the 2step resurrection) and an interesting mix of that rnb touches with the thumping beats of electro, it is a very catchy tune full of now very common arpeggios and production tricks that, still, surprises me that has been that a smash hit.The remix just added some 2step beats behind. Not that great.
