"Christ The Bootleg was recorded live on May 2nd, 1984 in Nottingham during Crass' last tour. This cassette was originally released on vinyl to be sold at cost. The record was not produced for profit, but only to make available a live recording by one of the most important and influential bands in punk rock, or indeed, any other form of music. The record was labeled with 'Pay No More Than' information on the front cover in an attempt to avoid traditionally vicious bootleg prices. However, since there were very few records pressed, the selling price is dramatically inflated today. Because of this, we have re-released this on cassette with the same intentions of the original releasers. Enjoy. Crass were anarchy, peace, and love."
